Building a sustainable ocean economy

We had a fantastic morning on June 25th talking about purpose-led business strategies with a group of ocean sector business leaders from Atlantic Canada. We explored how putting social and environmental purpose at the heart of business strategy can drive profitability while helping our region thrive.

It was a great conversation with Acadian Seaplants, LeeWayMarine, Ashored Innovations, Sedna Technologies, Innovacorp, Ulnooweg Development Group, Pisces Research Project Management and Lloyd’s Register.

A big thanks to Halifax MP Andy Fillmore for hosting the roundtable and the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) for the wonderful venue and support.  We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation!
